H&M Amsterdam Store Launch

On 22, 23 & 24 November 2010, H&M brought their flagship store in Amsterdam to live with a 3D projection mapping on the historic building. For over 3 minutes, guests and a gathered crowd enjoyed a surreal fairytale of light and magical effects. A red ribbon, wrapped around the building, untangles and transformed the building into a colorful dollhouse where nothing is what it seems.

Hirzberger Events – Digital Wallpaper

Public space art installation using geometry mapping techniques.

During my internship at Strukt in Vienna I had a lot of fun creating these projections together with Thomas Hitthaler and Robi Hammerle. The installation is located at Bureau Hirzberger in Vienna. The idea was to use the geometry and the paint of the wall to generate visuals fitting to it. My results were coloured stripes, and a pacman visualisation. The geometry mapping and the programming of the visualisations were realized in VVVV. The setup exists of two projectors, a pc and a timer to switch the projectors and the computer on and of.

ACDC Vs Iron Man 2 – Architectural Projection Mapping on Rochester Castle

On the site of a thousand years of violent history, ACDC were pitted against Iron Man in a ground breaking architectural projection mapping project. The front facade of the Great Keep at Rochester Castle, was brought to life using the latest in 3D animation techniques. This onslaught of the senses, saw the castle confront it’s ultimate challenge. Warping, morphing, spewing and collapsing before the audiences eyes. Let there be rock!

LD Systems provided sound, lights, video and staging for the 25th anniversary of the city. The equipment included a gramdMA lighting console, Barco HD projectors, Hippotizer HD media server and mapping system, and EV X-Line concert speakers. LDS and TV&P collaborated for this event on the heels of the overwhelmingly successful Glowrama event.
