Foursquare Inspired Billboard Dispenses Food Upon Check In

Pets Win When You Check-In on Foursquare [Video]

Finally the concept behind the Pavlov’s Dog experiment gets reversed when Granata, a German dog food brand,  ran an interactive and social billboard campaign where dog owners were conditioned to use Foursquare to check in at a billboard that dispensed dog food. One of the best parts of this campaign is that it was a really low budget campaign and green friendly as no paper vouchers were needed.

The campaign generated hundreds of new customers at local pet stores for Granata dog food and increased the viral nature of the brand as foursquare check ins were often times posted on Facebook where other dog owners could locate and check out the interactive billboard.

The main benefit of this campaign and why it was successful is that with food ads it is usually impossible to sample the product, until now!
