Tired of working that 9 to 5 job in a cramped office space? See how a German online recruitment website aimed to break people out of the mold and find their perfect job through this advertising campaign.
Jobsintown.de, a German online recruitment website, ran a campaign back in 2006 that won many advertising/marketing awards. The agency Scholz & Friends, Berlin came up with the concept and slogan for the campaign “Life’s too short for the wrong job”. The concept of the advertising campaign was to introduce the idea that there are people behind these machines that are hard at work in cramped spaces.
The campaign itself was actually a print campaign that introduced a very real concept. Jobsintown.de recently took a different approach as they aired a video commercial was created by grabarz & partner that depicts a fisherman who realized his true calling in life is outside of his current profession. See the print campaign and new video examples below.
