One Man Shows That One Word Makes All The Difference [NSFW]

The Pilion Trust, a poverty charity, recently ran a social experiment that proved how much one word can make a huge difference.

In this social campaign video, a young man holding a sign that said “f*ck the poor” walked around trying to build awareness about his hatred towards to the poor. We see a lot of people stopping to engage with the person. People were furious with the message. Afterwards, he changed the sign to say “help the poor” and his message is one that is so common that people just walk right past him.

It goes to show that messaging needs to be unique and different. Sure, we always see signs to help people in need. We never see signs that say otherwise. That’s why so many people stopped to show there disagreement with the man’s “f*ck the poor” sign with good reason.

This video truly makes a statement about how easy it is to not help a person in need but it is easier to show your disagreement. So, what do you think?
