Rainvertising is a unique and targeted way of getting your message out there. Rainvertising works by applying a water resistant coating to a surface by using a stencil. The effect is that the whole surface gets wet except the invisible waterproof stencil. Here is an example of a new rainvertising guerrilla marketing campaign.
The last real umbrella store in the rainy city of Hamburg needed some help to generate footfall. Of course: without a big budget. A clever guerilla stunt uses an invisible stencil that becomes visible only when it rains — thus enhancing the messaging.
