To celebrate the release of Star Trek Into Darkness, movie and TV streaming service blinkbox created their very own teleportation unit inside a mall.
The team worked with top illusionist Scott Penrose to create this fun illusion that used twins and a very unique teleportation box that used cameras to project the person’s image once inside. The ‘teleporter’ would then beam the person inside to a difference location in the mall.
Although the whole stunt can be easily figured out, I’m sure that it was still a fun exhibition when inside the mall. I bet it was one of the last things people expected to see while shopping for a pair of new jeans.
