Volkswagen is turning car parking spaces into miniature basketball courts with their latest Volksparking campaign.
Volkswagen partnered with DDB Brussels to create mobile basketball hoops in certain parking spots. The basketball hoops used sensors to detect open parking spaces and would move along a track to reposition should the empty space become occupied.
The goal of the campaign is to spread buzz and awareness to Volkswagen to current car owners while offering a fun place to shoot some hoops.
