At the Los Tres Cuñados quarry in Spain, a hamster is busy driving a 15-ton Volvo truck on a very, very narrow road.
Volvo decided to work with the creative folks at Forsman Bodenfors to bring you this viral video. In this video, they modified a Volvo truck with a special steering wheel that caged a small hamster named Charlie. The driver used a small carrot to lure the hamster in certain directions to ultimately steer the wheel.
The video is meant to showcase the new steering system that is said to be so easy and light that even a hamster can drive.
The video has racked up over 3 million views and counting in just under a week. Not bad! The only remaining question I have is if Charlie gets the carrot at the end.
