Pop-up Store That Makes You Pay In Calories

People in Chile are becoming more and more health conscious. More people are taking to the streets to get in their daily exercise and Colun, a Chilean dairy company, wanted to encourage this great behavior while also promoting their brand. To do this, they created a unique pop-up store experience.

The Colun pop-up store contained athletic wear in all colors and sizes. Once a person found an article of clothing they wanted to purchase, they would be told that the store doesn’t accept money. Instead, the person would need to pay for the item in calories! The shopper would then have to run on a treadmill until they could pay for their item.

By doing this, Colun encouraged shoppers to be healthy while also reinforcing their brand message.
